August somehow came to an end with the kiddo heading back to the school campus for the year. Cheers to everyone who is returning this fall, student and teacher alike.
Here’s your monthly update with future looks ahead!
Blogs
My bittersweet post about returning the kid to a building of learning on Flight of the Seedling, and one about the first week of school.
Upcoming
Guest Blogger Zack Spring of TravelFit.info has a post with ideas to feel your best that will be shipped to Swellness Vibes this month.
Books
I began compiling and editing The Hauntings of DoG Street‘s first novella, Chowning’s Tavern. Its original form will remain on Kindle Vella after I publish an edited version in paperback. I will share an additional post when it’s available.
Phenix & Fox: Shooting Stars had a full-color makeover! Kiddo and I colored in all the pictures at the start of the summer, I photographed them, embedded them and TA DA! It’s available in paperback or ebook. I got rid of the black and white ebook — full color is so much more fun. This new edition includes a sneak peak into the next adventure of our animal friends.
Shooting Stars OG is still available in black and cream paperback for a cheaper price or in a coloring book format for your scribblers. I hope to begin working on the story sometime next year, in fact, I started to write it in my head last night!
This leads me to…
Podcast
In August I released a podcast of me reading the story in its entirety, with 3 fun facts about me at the end of it. There was a contest to win a Phenix & Fox keychain on instagram and Facebook.
I *do* plan on releasing the book on Audible at some point — still read by me, but split up into smaller segments. It’s been a WIP for a bit now… I will let you know!
Woo Woo BBQ
We were back at it with the release of two episodes. One was about *our* experiences inside the Harmonic Egg, and the other was with an owner of an Egg. You can also read about my experience here on Swellness Vibes.
Joy and Peace to you all!
