Jolly July!

Another warm welcome to the folks who signed up to The Hub at the Local Authors Event last week! And of course, welcome to those who have stumbled across this post any other way… I truly appreciate your interest and support!

Speaking of the Local Authors Event… I surthrived! Yay! I was awkward and bumbling at the start, but as the night progressed, I felt better in my own skin and ended up having fun. Introverts Unite!

Books

The Amazon Book Sale has officially ended, but go ahead and take a peek at Amazon in case they haven’t yet changed the prices back! $2.00 off most of my books, and ebooks started at $0.99.

As it is summer, Phenix & Fox: Shooting Stars will be running a special in August to celebrate the annual Perseid Meteor Shower. Stay tuned for that. Also, the kiddo and I officially began scribing the next book in the 4-book series: Volcanos. Phenix & Fox are taking off to Hawai’i…

I’ve quietly announced it elsewhere, but it’s official! The title for the second book in The Light Thrower series is When Violet Took Flight. The first part of the book is tonally similar to When Violet Got Bored, but the second part is a whoooole new experience. I can’t wait to (finally) share it!

August is the new goal to reach out to alpha/beta readers on Instagram. Interested? Watch for the announcement.

Blogs

No updates last month, but a friend is working on a beautiful piece about her Dosha Journey. Expect that sometime this summer. We will probably publish it in parts. What’s a dosha? Healthline explains.

Podcast

On June 3rd fellow bodyworker Leslie, and I, finally released our episode about the book, The Awakened Brain. For newbies, please note it’s rated AAAACK! For Potty Mouths, but there is a ton of good information with this one, especially in regards to adolescents and depression.

I am so close to finishing The Strong Bear of Venice! If you haven’t checked out any of Katy Sloop Roberts‘ books, you really must do so! Her books are written for children, but the descriptions of Italy and the cleverness of the tales will entice adults. Expect my 5-star review next month!
