It’s time! My annual Phenix & Fox: Shooting Stars contest starts today on Instagram. Follow along to win, & be sure to get your stargazing on! The Perseids are able to be seen now, but peak August 12th – 13th.

Coming in September… My Haunted Happenings contest will be released! While the ad runs in a Salem, MA magazine, it’s open to anyone signing up to the blog September-November 1, so be sure to tell your friends to sign up! Here’s last year’s ad.

Stories

Speaking of Halloween… drumroll… WOOHOO! Both of my stories got picked for the Halloween anthology. I’m writing my bio and reading over edits at the moment. I will let you know when it is released. I cannot wait to get a copy for this spooky season!!! Check out the cover ➡️

The Hauntings of DoG Street
Edits begin in August for a late September release of the third novella. The final installment will begin sometime after that with new chapters dropping most Fridays over at TheHauntingsofDoGStreet.com. Hope to see you there!

Amara Rising
I have started adding to the rather incomplete tale! I’m not sure if some parts went missing or what, but I am taking most of August to fill in the holes.

Phenix & Fox
Kiddo and I have started discussing how we want to do drawings. He used an app and came up with some beautiful work; however, I’d rather him do the drawings from scratch. So we begin anew!

Book Festivals

I had a lot of fun at the author expo at Lancaster Community Library in Kilmarnock in July, and have high hopes to do it again next year. I met a lovely fellow author named Drema Deoraich. She and I have decided, rather bravely, I think (!), to be a part of a ComiCon panel (whoa, what?!) in September in Williamsburg. I must be crazy. I’ll share more information in next month’s blog!

For now, I just have a date & time ➡️ September 13 at 2pm in the Stryker Center.
