On a personal note, my son has shipped off to middle school and that means summer is officially over. In Not Enough, this mama waxes sadness on Flight of the Seedling. This Friday, we have a guest blogger sharing a post about working from home with a baby.

On Swellness Vibes, I finally wrote something! This time it was about The Telepathy Tapes, which is a podcast that has the ability to stretch your belief system. Read my post here, and check out the podcast here.

Books

Pumpkin Spice and Haunted Nights is available for pre-order right now with a release date of 9/13 which helps the Chesapeake Bay Writers. Or, you can purchase a signed copy directly from me, which of course, supports my writing habit! Either way, you are in for some fun! I cannot wait to get my own copy. (And yes, my name is spelled incorrectly all over the place, but apparently it is correct IN the actual book.)

The Wren Building will be published either September 26 or October 3. I will start the final installment, The Capitol Building, on the 3rd or 10th…. a week after I publish the book. Stay in the know via Instagram!

Amara Rising has been pushed back to a 2026 release–summer just didn’t deliver! (Not me–summer, dangit!) Phenix & Fox made some headway this summer, but not much. However, I’m optimistic that by next summer, both will be on the chopping block for winter releases of next year.

Events

On September 13, I am on a panel at the Williamsburg Regional Library ComicCon. It’s for an hour, I’ve never done a panel before, and my God, what have I signed up for?! This will either be amazing, or traumatizing. Or both. 🤪

I applied to be at Williamsburg Book Festival in March. Fingers crossed!
