It is SNOWING again! What is going on, SE Virginia?!
BLOGS
Zack Spring popped in with some ways to keep sane if you’ve got a side hustle going on–but I think some of the advice is good for regular ol’ living, too. Check it out here.
I shared something about the kiddo that was sweet. I also had a wake-up call about my posting habits here, and finally released something I wrote in December of last year.
This upcoming month, at least two guest blog posts are on their way!
BOOKS
I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! The Hauntings of DoG Street series will officially end on February 6th! If you haven’t read it yet, you can still subscribe. While there are no more polls left, you can leave a comment or email me with thoughts because the story isn’t over until I hit that final publish key!
Regarding the quiet behind The Wren Building — I have simply been avoiding it. I only have two chapters left, but the whole thing was disheartening and I’ve had a hard time mustering up the desire to even deal with it.
Alas! My birthday is this month, so there’s my goal, by the end of this month.
The Capitol Building will be out edited with photos this fall! Future goals–one volume out in 2027 with ALL of the stories in it, updated with fresh photography. That last goal is lofty–who knows what the future holds?!?!
So this means… I can A) take a breather B) start something new C) work on Phenix & Fox: Volcanos or D) finish up Violet.
REVIEWS
I finally put a review up for one of the books I mentioned in November, The Missing Nativity of Speranzamonte by Katy Sloop Roberts. Make sure you check it out!
BOOK FESTIVALS & MORE
I’ve applied to be at the Gloucester Book Festival again–I’ll let you know how that pans out. This year it is on June 20th. I’m also signed up for a radio interview in October to coincide with the release of The Capitol Building.
Stay safe out there, and I’ll catch you in March!
