April is for Artemis!

Happy April Fool’s Day, and Happy Artemis Day! This STEM educator is geeking out over the historic NASA Artemis II Launch slated for just a couple of hours from now. Only good vibes and good luck headed their way! Their 10-day journey around the moon will certainly enhance this precious place we call home. ❤ And for now, it enhanced my belly with a Krispy Kreme donut!

Swellness Vibes was a hot spot of activity this past month. Bella Reilly wrote about ways to meal prep and I wrote about a challenge I did through the Insight Timer app. I received two new submissions, so expect at least two new posts in April! I’m also in the process of redesigning how the blog itself looks… WordPress got rid of the design I was using. Something fresh for Spring, methinks!

Don’t forget–you can check out When Violet Got Bored & Chowning’s Tavern at the Yorktown Library! Here’s the link to the books. Both are currently on the shelf!

With taxes almost complete, it will be time to turn an eye back to The Hauntings of DoG Street and wrap up that series, once and for all!

I have finally posted my review for George Horner’s Hidden Heroes of Our Community, a tale about a new community nurse during the first year of the Coronavirus Pandemic. He shared a lot of information in regards to Covid-19, but most of the story is really about Horner’s chosen career as a very important caregiver. Read my review here.

Still waiting to hear back from the Gloucester Arts Festival Book Fair, and am looking into other ways to vend for the latter part of the year. The Suffolk and Williamsburg book festivals were both fun to go to, and I really hope I can vend at Suffolk next year. (I can’t imagine Williamsburg ever entertaining me, haha!)

Until next month! Stay safe out there, & get your moon on!

They are delicious!
