Tis the Season for Some Tots

Violet’s story begins in the fall, and follows her through to the next year — late spring/early summer. This means the tale includes, drumroll, please: CHRISTMAS!

This is not your average Christmas romance, ohhh, no. Violet’s Christmas is full of mystery, booze, a burnt tater tot casserole and a psychic connection which knocks Violet flat on her back and renders her boyfriend jealous as hell.

Excerpt below:

I decided I was going to start the day with a fat bastard cheesy tater tot casserole and end it with egg nog, bourbon and cookies. I started mixing the roux for the casserole while frantically gathering ingredients for cookies–certainly I could make chocolate chip in a pinch, right?

Sounds like the perfect way to start Christmas Day to me.
