Apparently April

If you’re like me, you’re shocked to find yourself in April. Why not settle that shock with your monthly update to soothe and ease your.. nope, it’ll just update you.

Blogs

Swellness Vibes put on some leggings and joined Jane Fonda for some exercise. Read about it here.

Books

I signed up to read to my kid’s class at the end of March. His teacher said I could choose my own books, so I chose Luna and Fortuna’s Fortuna Finds a Family as well as Phenix & Fox: Shooting Stars. With Fortuna, I had some of the kids help me pronounce the Italian words, and that was a lot of fun. With Phenix & Fox, the kids were blown away by the fact that the kid and I had created a book together. We didn’t get to finish it, though, as it was a half day and their lunch was happening early! D’oh!

Also, there was a storybook character parade at the kid’s school and so he literally dressed up as one of his favorite cats in literature… none other than that adorable, orange grouch named GARFIELD.

Charming the parade as an orange tabby

Podcast

Aaack! The trailer and introduction were released during the 3rd week of March and the first full episode was released April 1. Check out my friend Leslie and I as we discuss woo woo topics — which, frankly, some of these spoken topics we explore may be featured on Swellness Vibes (or will continue to be).

The podcast has been fun, and I can’t wait see where it takes us. The amount of ideas, excursions, modalities, etc etc etc (!) to explore are endless.

Other

Remember last month I told you I had been interviewed by one of my favorite essential oil companies (Rocky Mountain Oils)? Not only did they release my short feature, but they are continuing to post videos of so many amazing women and what these ladies are doing in their corners of the world, I think it would tee-totally behoove you to check some of the videos out. Here’s mine: Rocky Mountain Oils Short Feature.

For April

I think my main plan is to focus on the second book of The Light Thrower: When Violet Ran Away. I’d like to finally release When Violet Got Bored to other retailers as well, and maybe get the signed copies up online. Remember, it’s FREE to read if you have Kindle Unlimited.

But! I’m moooooving soon, and it’s tax time, so we’ll see how much I accomplish.

I hope your April finds you ridiculously peaceful!
