Happy New Year!

Lesson of 2023: It takes a village. I totally get why people are hired to do advertising. If you’re controlling everything, it literally takes everything to control it. I essentially run two, intersecting businesses and it’s a lot of effort and time. I think I need to set better goals as I move forward, that way I’m not just existing in a vacuum. The good news is, I’ll never stop writing, even if I continue to exist within said vacuum. 🤪 Either way, here’s hoping this village grows for me in 2024!

Bruton Parish Church ends next week! I don’t feel like I got to spend as much time crafting this story like last year’s tale. But that’s alright! It was fun, and I love how the story is unfolding…without me, mind you, it’s tending to write itself.

My gaze turns to Violet, editing my NanoWriMo creation, and maybe a rough draft of the next installment of Phenix & Fox by Thanksgiving. Lofty goals? Bah! Achievable!

Swellness Vibes produced What is a Miracle? and Zack Spring’s These Smart Choices Can Help You Create a Daily Blueprint for Wellness in December. I have no immediate plans for the blog, but rather, I plan on taking January off from posting to come up with a plan for the future. Stay tuned.
Mom Fail was an epic tale of failure on my part via Flight of the Seedling. The most annoying thing? I tried to find the kid’s performance for days on the TV and it looks like they booted his class from airing. So the Mom Fail didn’t make as much of a lasting impact as I had feared! (Of course, they were airing schools’ performances from 2021; I suppose they could air his at any point in the future.) My last post was a general account of the middle of 4th grade. Phew!
Other Stuff
We twice recorded for the podcast about The Awakened Brain. Follow along on Spotify for its release! (The first one was not what we wanted, which is why we re-recorded it.) At the moment, I’m not sure of the release date.
I hope 2024 starts off for you with peace, joy and grace.
Thanks for hanging out with me in 2023! Looking forward to what 2024 shall bring!
